Oh my goodness-thank you all for the birthday wishes-really appreciate it. We spent a nice relaxing day at home-I requested Chinese take-out for my birthday dinner. After having eaten out yesterday for lunch and dinner-I had my yearly checkup with my Gastro doc. in Vermont (3 hrs. from home)-along with lotsa shopping-I was content to stay home and just let everyone relax-my husband does the driving whenever we go anywhere.

LOL-yup-what's left of it -Wonderful-been 11 yrs. since major surgery and, knock on wood, I have never had an complications or problems since- I owe it all to my amazing Dr.and his team.-kinda neat too that he is also the same age as me-57-and has the greatest bedside manner and sense of humor.
You are lucky to have a good doctor, as am I.
