Another little sundress for granddaughter!! It is reversible - the flower pot applique was from Tuckers Treasures, which closed a few years ago. I fashioned it into a pocket. Thanks for taking a peak!! Laura

This is ADORABLE. I will be getting a granddaughter in October. My daughter has asked me to sew every little sundress ever invented. haha. I really like the fact that this is reversible. AND the pocket flower pot is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing. I can't wait to get started on little dresses for her.

I love how you placed the flowerpot on your beautiful dress. If you would like to see more designs from Ruthanne of the oldTucker's Treasures, she has a new site now with a new name.

You're welcome. Her designs are always so nice & the .svg files for cutting some of the appliques with an electric cutting machine are an added bonus.

This little pattern is from: The Tulip Pinafore by Too Sweets Patterns. It is really a tunic - but, I lengthened it to make a sundress for my 23 month old GD, Vivian. This dress (size 2) only takes 1 yard of fabric total (even with lengthening!!). So, I purchased 1/2 yard of each fabric. I did put an applique on both fronts (little flower on one and flowerpot on the other) before stitching. It stitches up very quickly, just iron as you go, because that helps a lot! It called for one button at the top - but, I used Kam snaps (three) instead which allows it to be reversible. Just add some shorts or diaper covers, if you want. Easy - easy!! Hugs, Laura

Lillian, my little Granddaughter,Vivian also loves pockets, I do wonder what my daughter will find in it over time!!! The fabric was simply to cute to pass up - especially, only needing 1/2 yard of each!! Thanks for your kind words!!

Loralye, it really is a suntop - I just lengthened it to make Vivian a sun dress. The pattern goes up to 5T. I put all the info about the pattern down below. PM me if it doesn't make sense or if you have any questions. Thanks, Laura*
