It was my Aunties 98th birthday last Saturday. She loves doing crosswords and when I saw this free design (Cannot remember where it was from) I knew I just had to embroider it out with her name and frame it. She loved it. She is in a nursing home and her comment was "They will all like it in here" When I went to put it on the table she told me not to drop it. She is such a dear and is the only Auntie I have left. A woman after my own heart! I do crosswords every day down at my local cafe, or at home before hand. It keeps the brain active. What a wonderful gift for an amazing lady. Well done Shirley I hope your Aunty has written down her memories. It's great what our families know! Love Chris

Yes Chris she is an amazing lady. She has written a book on her life about 20 years ago. She has lots of things written down as well. Loves jokes and has been keeping clippings from books and papers for years. She has 2 joke books, 1 she reads to other residents and the other she calls her rude jokes which she only reads to close friends and family. I do a few crosswords (Mainly with my mouth LOL) Hubby does a couple each week. We have a game of scrabble every night to keep the brain active. Love Shirley
I do the Cryptic crosswords every day too. It's the dual one with the normal/cryptic clues. It's an easier one than the really hard one in the Sydney Daily Telegraph! Love Chris
