I made some more coaster (show me your shocked face!). Not sure why... I found a piece of tablecloth remnant at Joann's and I wanted to try embroidering on it. It's cloth backed vinyl. Sews up nicely. I used Sue's CD design and two EmbrLibrary designs. The frog was a VIP design and the peony had leaves and stuff that I left off to fit on the coaster.

I was really happy with how easy it was to embroider on.

Did you have to put WSS on the top to stitch it?

No, I did not use any topping, just wash away stabilizer in the hoop.
Thanks for your answer. Will have to try this idea out. Yours look so good.

Excellent pieces. I like that they are not on felt, which collects dust!

You should be able to wipe these off.

I know, the first time I tried one, I had my finger on the stop button but so far no problems. I use double stick tape to tape the cd down within the lines and I've never had a problem. FYI, I went back a few colors once and I already had the cd on, my machine put a hole in that cd like it was butter, didn't even slow it down. This was my fault, not the designs, but the machine didn't seem to mind!

They both look nice but my fav is the flower! I don't think I saved these CD designs when they were in DBC, because at the time they were too large for my machine, but I will look. IF I have them, I may need to ask you about assembly.-Nice job here-Toogi

Great job-I am sorry I missed Sue's CD design-I didn't get the instructions when she had them up on DBC because I did that ASSUME thing and figured the designs and instructions would always be here :( . Your frog design is adorable and I especially love the peony design.
