First Sewing Bee last night. I was hoping that there would be more tricks of the trade. I was impressed with the dresses made for live models. I thought they did a great job. Don't know if I will stick with it. Sarah

Sarah the programme is for entertainment not education. Many from the series have gone on to use their skills since the programme ended. As Sue say enjoy it. It has done wonders for sewing in the UK.

As we can receive BBC 1 and 2 I watched all episodes and although I would have loved more tips and tricks I liked it. It's funny to see them make mistakes you are sure you would never make (although I must admit I've made the most silly ones at one time or another).
