I guess all you have to do is mention that one of your kids is still waiting for me to make her a denim quilt lol. A friend of mine found out about this & facebooked me & said she will come right over & bring me a little bit of her stash! This is just a sample of her stash! wow! My daughter came over & saw this on my couch & said well I gues si knoe what I am finally getting for Christmas this year! whe hew! but mom don't use the one with all that printing on it ok please! lol I am very blessed to have such wonderful people in my life! Thank you very much Kathy!

I love making denim quilts! They are warm and infinitely durable. What a nice friend to bring you such a great stash! I was talking to the ladies in my sewing club about making a denim quilt. It was amazing. They all went home and cleaned out their closets and filled my car. And before I knew that I would be receiving such an abundance, I was at a local clothing store, where they were clearancing the big and tall men's jeans for 60 cents per pair. I took the whole rack for less than $20. Some of these jeans are long and wide enough to make sleeping bags out of them. My imagination is going crazy. Enjoy your project, and let you imagination go wild!!

The larger legs would also make into cute little sleeping bags for kids, rugged and warm, line with flannel...

I have been collecting the families unwanted jeans soon hope to make a quilt from it.. I suppose now your daughter has seen the stash you'll have to make it soon.. have fun lol
