Finally, finish embroidering my blocks for my quilt. I have 1,541,791 stitches for this project and lots of colors . What do you thnk? By the way someone offered me 50 dollars for this. I told her will keep it for myself and just enjoy it.

Une pure merveille !! Elle a fait une erreur de zéro. 50 dollars, cette personne est folle !!! Ce n'est même pas le prix des fournitures. Très réussi pour les couleurs aussi. Bravo.

Fifty dollars would not even cover the cost of supplies! Would give you nothing for your work. Evidently she doesn't fabric shop or sew.I had $100. in Nora's and I got things on sale... Your quilt is lovely. Keep it and enjoy!

thank you, that's the reason why I join here we have the same interest and embroidery is the connection that makes us close and concern to one another. God bless

You've done an amazing job on this stunningly beautiful quilt Buanlester. I'm glad you are keeping it. I don't believe most people realise how much time, effort and money are involved in making a quilt. It's worth much, much, more than what you were offered. Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia.

Absolutely lovely!! Doesn't it just show that people just don't get the time and effort or the cost of supplies and equipment that goes in to something like this. I find that alot. Well done. xx

Everyone wants something for nothing...how sad that she didn't appreciate all the work, love, time and effort you put into this. It's very pretty and no way would I 'give' it away. :-)

Congratulation on an amazing quilt!! $50 may have cover the power you added to the bill, but certainly not for the fabric, threads and loving time you put into it... I can cost me up to $300 in materials for a special quilt, glad your keeping it for yourself to enjoy...

$50 would barely cover your materials, say nothing for your time. I have told people that I am sorry but they couldn't afford to pay for my time to make a quilt. I give away the quilts that I make to people I love.

Wow! Beautiful!! Enjoy & I do hope you take it to your mother when you go. Well, at least you got a chuckle over the $50 offer!! I probably would have HAD to smile sweetly, say "Bless your heart, that quilt has way over a million stitches in the embroidery. No one could afford to buy it from me!" (If you're from the South, you get the Bless your heart!) Do enjoy it & tks for sharing it with us!!

Beautiful work. There are two kinds of people in the world . People who quilt and/or embroidery - they know the value of your work. and People who don't. They just need further education. They have never threaded a needle, never used a sewing machine of any kind, never spent days or weeks on a project, never paid for a thread, fabric, stabilizer, or a good machine. Don't you just feel blessed to have the education as well as the talent you have? You should

Lovely quilt....and you have made a good decision. I would not part with such a beautiful quilt. Anyway what is the size of each block and also the finished size. I love it.
