Here is the dress I finished up tonight, needs the snaps on the back, and to actually sew the sash on, but done other than that. I love how it turned out. Can't wait to make another one.

pattern is peppermint swirl from candy castle patterns, not sure who will love it more, me, the baby or mom LOL can't wait to get a pic of her in it. I need to make a hair piece now Thank you

I remember asking my sister to make me a twirly skirt when I was little. She did and it had pink elephants all over it. I would spin and spin till I was dizzy! Maybe what's wrong with me today!! LOL This dress is so pretty and I bet she spins and spins too. What's great is that now we have video cameras to catch the spinning in action.

If she has long hair, one of those pony tail scrunchies would work really well for an easy hair adornment. Beautiful dress! Do you making matching shorts to go underneath for the wild twirling? They are super easy.

Boy wish I did. I order almost all of mine from them. I live VERY rural!
no matter where I shop it is a ride, I live in the woods too. So you make it worth it for sure. I like to touch the fabric though, have bought some on line but not much.
do you girls ever look at fabric.com? I watch for their clearance sales and get good prices there. Joanns has gotten SO expensive, thank goodness for the coupons they send... I am about 15-20 minute ride to a small Joanns. The bigger ones are almost an hour away.
