was in a Halloween mood I guess. I made a pumpkin coaster and a small mat for Halloween. The mat is reversible. The other side is for Christmas. I got this idea from Missouri Quilt Star Co,

Very functional! Love the fabric and the pumpkin design. Pretty cool. Is the star pattern on their website? :-)

Yes, they have a tutorial on their site for one similar to it. They used a periwinkle temple I used a triangle template ruler I had. Then I stitched across one edge to form the 2nd point, like a Dresden plate section. I made the Halloween one then the Christmas one put batting in between and slip stitched the 2 edges together by hand.
