We are going through a serious emergency with my youngest grandson, please pray. His name is Cameron.Waiting on test results.UpDate below-sorry I am on phone and posted in wrong place.UPDATE 08-08-14 FRIDAY- Culture was not growing, so not bacterial meningitis, so that is good because that is the worse one. It is viral but they don't know which one. They tested for the most common viral one and it wasn't that one. The dr said this morning they would take him off the IV fluids and see how he did, if he didn't throw up or have fever guess he would have been released. Well, while the dr was still in the room, he started throwing up again. He was sick one other time, so they kept him another day. Good. He says he gets sick when his head hurts so much. He is only 7, did I say that already, IDK.-We will see if there is an improvement tomorrow. Hope so.Thanks for continued thoughts and prayers. Posting a photo in hospital, the one with Nora was just about 2 weeks ago. SUNDAY THE 10TH- Cam is home! He came home late yesterday. He still has headaches, that may last up to two weeks total, and when they get bad, thats when he gets sick. They did send him home with med for nausea and for headaches, he takes motrin alternating with tylenol. Other than that he just needs to stay hydrated, drinking plenty fluids. He was so happy to get home and play with his things, they had a hard time getting him to bed last night.-lol- that is a good sign.Thank you ALL for your thoughts and prayers. Unless there is a set back, I won't have to update,he should get well.He seems very normal, answering questions appropriately. We are very grateful for answered prayer.-Toogie
