A very good Sunday to everyone. I just want to share this unfinish project of my late mother-in-law. She gave me this eleven blocks with butterfly design that she did not able to finish due to her failing health. Being new in the States I have no idea what you call it and asked my husband what it is? He said it's a block for quilt, and what will I do with this? He you'll find something to do with it one day if you want to keep it . I have it for almost 7 yrs. now and finally did a 12 block quilts. I add one to make it complete and embroidered her name and her favorite flowers (she died 2 yrs ago) I decided not to embellish it I just hand stitch the anthenna and eyes and leave it as it is. I took her of her when she was totally bed ridden and doctors told my husband family that she has two weeks... but nobody can tell when will be your time, everything is in Gods hands. She was able to regain her strength after 8 months. I stayed with her for 2 yrs 24/7 and one day she told me she doesn't need me anymore. It's a challenging time of my life but can't change it for anything.
