a big thank you to Carolyn for helping me with this towel holder pattern! I love how this has turned out. I recently had my old 10,000 serviced & although I can not remember how to get the designs to the machine I have figured out how to use the ones that are on it already! I used a gradiating fabric & also did the button hole (from OPW) & as I was embroidering the basting stitch I remembered to use the same co-ordinating thead in the bobbin. To bad I didn't have a tulip button to match. I sewed bias (homemade burgundy) trim & garage sale brown trims to make the bottom part of the towel I really like how nice this turned out. The towel is a BAR towel that you buy from Wal-Mart & I cut it in half. They are really absorbent too!

you can put your designs on a flash card - just remember to put the flash card in your machine to format it first - then put all your designs in the emb(f) folder on the card. I miss my 10000 - it died for a second time two years ago and I just replaced it with a new machine. I like the towels

good for you & congrats on the new machine! It is amazing how we take things for granted me especially my new Janome cuts the threads automatically & I have to retrain myself to use the old which does not have the same features like the USB. thank you very much for reminding me about the flash drive as soon as I read this the lights went on! I do hope that you enjoy your new machine & thanks again Mona. ~hugs~
