Sammi took center stage while I was trying to take a pic of my stitchout....I let him lay on it as long as he wanted as it kept him out of my room licking on my fingers while I type......YUK!

Sammi thinks he has control of the situation! So glad we think we are smarter than they are! I hate the licking also, It does not happen here very often, My cat Jack will lick my elbow What is with that?

We have 3 lickers now.....Sammi is the worst by far, he will lick anyone for hours......Satie developed licking in her old age, guess she has developed a taste for us through the years and now Skippy, one of the kittens, has started licking me......HELP!! I am thinking that they think they are grooming us, Sammi must think we are a mess...LOL!

He does look very comfortable. Sammi know who's the boss in his-(your) house.

Don't you just have to love them, Keith and I also have a cat, Gizmo is his name and he must have a lap to sleep on after dinner, but not any lap, it must have his blankie on the lap first or he will not settle. I don't know what we would do if we did not have these little creatures surrounding our lives, I think life would be just a little boring don't you. regards Lorraine of Woodcroft south Australia

I'm atraid it's time for Sammi to move up to the next hoop size. Aren't they funny, the things that they like. Actually, I think he's just trying to get your attention, like my cat that used to "read" the Sunday paper with me by sitting where my eyes were resting! SUCH a sweet face.

I'm "long term" cat sitting my daughter's cat, Sabra. She is a service animal, but my daughter is living in an area where it is dangerous for cats. Once the neighbors cats started disappearing, Sabra came back here for the time being. Sabra looks a LOT like Sammi; she is all black, with just a few white hairs under her chin. She never used to lick, but has started. I think that she has adopted us now, and is tenderly taking care of us, as she would kittens. And she would absolutely place herself square on the embroidery hoop or anything else I'm working on. I've learned not to leave my machine running while she is in the house. I've come in to find her laying on the hoop while the machine is stitching. It makes for some very interesting designs. :) They love us, and we love them!
