I changed up the bodice some on this one, it's for my other grand, When I showed to others, they are saying leave it sleeveless, so might stay that way now LOL I do love how it looks, I can change it still since I am working on bodice now, this is just set in place to get an idea of it.

This is lovely, I really like the little sleeve sets of the bodice. Wouldn't change a thing...unless this grand wants one exactly like the other grands...but I'm betting not. She will love it just because she now has one!. :-}

she has not seen the other's dress. This is for her birthday, but she loves twirly dresses, last year I did a big puffy tutu for her LOL she loved it, she is only 5 and such a sweety too

I love it. I was ready to ask the pattern source when I got the 5 year old line. Here I thought it was for a woman. Love the way the swirly skirt works with the bodice. It is great just this way..

they have a add on for adult sizes, I am making one for my sister already, she has seen these dresses and wants one too LOL the pattern is from

so funny I keep calling this the bumble bee dress, even picked up some little buttons in the goldish color that is in the dress, thinking of a hair piece with a bumble bee LOL Thanks
My baby that I used to babysit called her Mom's silk black and yellow dress "Bee, Mommy, Bee." She loved that dress on her Mother! It's funny what tricks colors do for us.

thank you, and yes they do take a lot of time to sew the skirt, if I had cut only one out it takes almost 4 hrs for me, I did 3 at once to save some time LOL

This one is also very nice very striking. Thanks for putting up pictures of the little girl twirling. As I was thinking on the model maybe the neckline might be a bit low but on an actual body it sits just right.

She states in the pattern you can cut up higher if your worried about the bodice being to low, I just finished my 3rd attempt on this one, which I like the best, and I did raise the front up. Thank you
