I love chaos. I embrace chaos. From chaos comes order. Now we are having new counters installed in the kitchen and a storage area and counter installed over my machines in the laundry room. Thankfully, the counters (all but 1) is already here. I just love a kitchen with no counters, water, sink or stove. It's a whole new look for the kitchen. But I can still stitch and I did. Maybe by the time we have been home 4 months (make that 5 months with a new shed coming) we will actually be unpacked and settled.

Keep repeating. This will be a great time to spend in your sewing room to take your mind off of it.

Actually, much of the remodeling inside is my husband's plan, but I approved it.

That is exactly what I am working on. Fortunately my sewing room is at the other end of the house.

Quite frankly I didn't mind when my kitchen was being renovated as I got to eat out every night. (breakfast and lunch wasn't so much fun, though) I love your positive attitude!

We did eat out last night and lunch today. Hopefully, it won't be many more days.

You have given us all a new mantra for our sewing spaces. Bless your heart, may your order come sooner rather than later. "Lose your mind" in your sewing.

I am still waiting for the sink to be installed. Day 3 without. Hopefully today I will have a sink

Really?!? I don't know why having no kitchen should worry or upset you! According to some young ones I know if you have microwave and a hot plate you don't need anything else...the rest is just superficial as they never use it anyway.... LOL Go figure. Who knows maybe between you and Loralye a new trend/fad will erupt! LOL.

It would be OK but I have no sink, no water, can't wash clothes. Ugh!

If this is what the general does to you when He gets well...you might want to reconsider. :-D

Yes, delays and more delays. Sounds familiar doesn't it. Two counters have a 2 week delay on them.

Once everything is in place you won't remember the delays - hopefully!!!! It all takes time and you've been very patient. Plus you've had the move and Rob being sick, so you've had a lot to contend with. Hoping it will be over soon. Love and blessings Chris
