I just love birthdays The mail lady brings me all kinds of goodies. Normally bills but when it is a birthday she brings me goodies like this: PS sorry to Dennis I have to add to his scissor comments...............I have never seen a pair like this but they do look very sharp & my thinking is goof for applique right?

Hi Happy Birthday! I have a pair of Mundial scissors shaped like these
that I like better for appliques than my duck billed Ginghers. They cut
closer to the stitching.Let us know after you have tried them.

I believe they are called duck bill scissors! They are excellent to use for applique!

I love those double bent scissors, bought a pair two years ago from Customersrule and use them everyday - so easy when you clip as you go when embroidering and razor sharp.
