If you mean a good craft fair to sell your Projects, then it must have the right kind of (and enough) advertising. It also must limit the number of same type items so you don't end up in a pricing war with anyone. Additionally, one that has been at the same place and regularly for years seems to do better. The ones here that make money are the ones that accept no cheap items like the jewelry that sales for $1 but they get it in lots of 100 pieces for $1

With the way the economy has been, I like one that allows you to pay a percentage of your sales, like 10% for your booth. This is mostly churches that do this. It is heartbreaking to sell only $70 of stuff and have paid $65 for the booth. The festival folk don't realize it's a three day commitment for 1 day. The day before, I'm stitching up a storm and packing and loading the vehicles. The day after, I'm settling the items back in all the little spare spots around the house. I have almost given up - haven't had a good sale in 3 years now.

Caroline - you are asking the wrong person here. I only make items for fairs to go on sale. I have nothing to do with the fairs themselves. Hope you find out what you need. Sarah
