today's endevour 1st time by myself with no help from hubby to tighten the jars so I wait patiently to hear the POPS from my stewed tomatoes fresh from my garden even the herbs added .........remember I shared a post that our lovely neighbour came over & brought us a herb garden planter. I was able to use the fresh herbs oregano & sweet basil & parsley it smells very good & this is great for soups, crock pot recipes like roast beef & any pasta dish you like. A versatile & handy thing to have stocked in your cupboard or in a Christmas basket lol

Do you know that when you hear the pop you don't even need the lid ??The ring that is .When i used to do ***well many*** i often ran out of rings lol so i often left them with none and it didn't matter as long as they are sealed hugs

yes that works well with new lids & not the recycled ones so mine must stay as is. but thanks for the reminder. ~hugs~
