Darn video won't work so i will show you more pictures of me and John and a few friends picking wild blueberries this after noon in 75f heat lol.
We had fun and everyone got 3 to 5 pails of berries for this winters pies:):)and muffins:);)These berries grew all around an old gravel pit in the sand in the bush near were i live..Thanks for LQQKING Hugs Carolyn

My blueberry farmer here says freeze them unwashed on cooky sheets, then pour into bags. Only wash as you are about the eat! My favorite ways to eat them: out of hand; with milk and a bit of sugar; with cottage cheese and bananas or strawberries for a summer salad plate. Enjoy!

I freeze them but have found freezing makes the skins tough.

I had no idea that the Blueberries were so close to the ground. I've only seen ones on bushes higher than yours. They look fabulous Carolyn and I'm envious you can get them so close to where you live. Love Chris

I've got a neighbor that raises blueberries, actually my son n laws sister, so we have plenty of blueberries without a lot of work. I put them in my oatmeal, cereal, pies, smoothies and just like to eat them by the handful. Are the wild ones very sweet? Glad you guys don't have to worry about poison ivy or poison oak. Around here you get in the woods or anywhere not cultivated and that's what you run into. then itch, itch itch.

I have never in my life seen these growing - odd fresh ones (expensive!) and many frozen in the one exclusive type food shop - Woolworths in South Africa. Thanks so much for the pics, appreciated.
