My friend Linda has her implant turned on Friday. She can hear things again... voices, music, but, she hears chirping birds that is driving her crazy at the moment. The doctor assured that will stop when her brain adjusts to high tones. First time she has heard Jazz music in a long long time.
Asking for prayers for her hubby though. He is going to Boston Monday to find out what kind of liver cancer the doctors just discovered last week and what the treatment will be. They are both devistated at this news. On one hand something good on the other not so good. Thanks so much!! Suzanne

It will take a little time but her brain will adjust to the sounds. I have hearing aids in both ears and it tllk me a while to get use to all i heard. My prayers are for the both of them.

Thank you all ... They are such loving, kind people.... They go out of their way to help many others and cats too. I would love to see a good outcome for them both. If anyone deserves it they certainly do. Suzanne

I understand really really good and really really bad at the same moment. It is quite the roller coaster. I pray for quick healing so they will enjoy hearing beautiful sounds together.
