Hello all....got another update on our Riley Ray. She is now 4 lb 4 ozs, a big jump from the 1 lb 9 ozs when she was born on June 13th, and has red hair. Her grandma and daddy has red hair so they are real happy. She will go through another surgery and this time for her eyes in the hopes she won't go blind from oxygen. Picture 1 was when she was born and picture 2 is one from today. Please keep prayers coming her way.

When you compare her against that folded cloth diaper she's laying on it's still amazing on just how small she is really. Hopefully the surgery will help her to not loose her sight. We will continue to pray for her needs and for her families strength through this difficult time. They are on such a roller coaster of ups and downs as one minute to the next things can change. Not sure if her little c pap mask is just not on due to taking the pictures or if she has progressed to only needing the nasal prongs. If she does not need either then wow she's doing great! Love the red hair too!

She looks great! They sure have learned a lot about babies and how to keep them growing. I had no idea oxygen caused blindness. I am keeping baby Riley in my prayers, Thank you for the update.

She has made progress, I hope she continues to do so and that the surgery will do wonders for her eyesight. So often oxygen causes lasting eye problems, praying she will do well.

Praying for her parents today. I know they must be stressed and worn out from all this, plus untold expense, which is a different kind of stress. It will make their parenting very different - they will treasure her every act and word.
