Oh thank you! You are the expert here, so here is a question for you. Am I suppose to sew up the sides a bit? She asked me not too as she wants to be able to fold it flat for her wedding album. She thinks it a decoration but it will have a little surprise inside for her. :-} Thanks again.
no i sewed only the middle to the bottom on all them .So happy for you i love fsl hugs

Thank you Pam, I wasn't sure it was right. The first time I tried didn't use 2 layers of the WSL and boy did I have a mess...great way for me to learn. Now that I've done the first maybe we can learn together. Thanks for stopping by. :-)

I'm still trying to figure out what I did. :-P How big a roll can one buy?
How much money do you have-lol
Oh so it's like those new Brother machines...an arm and a leg. :-P
you can get 50 yards for $35.00 with free shipping from world weidner, you can buy more or less but 50 yds last me quite a while. And that is vilene, I don't like the badgemaster or clear type

I thought I liked it (FSL), made a few lace corners, but when I tried an angel it messed up and I quit. Scared me off....Yours has came out very nice.

Okay if you promise not to tell...my first attempt fell apart in the water...all I had was a sticky pile of thread. The second time I started, my thread got caught and I thought I broke my machine...turned off, unplugged from electrics overnight...reset itself. It took me a week to over come that heart attack. ;-)

Thanks. It's the 1st completed project...the rest were all messes! There are times when I think I bit off more than I can chew with this machine and should never have purchased it. I'm gonna teach it that IT is the boss!!!!! :-P

Great job! I haven't got up the nerve to try fsl!

If I can attempt this you certainly try. I would rather take my time and have something done extremely early, which this is; rather then have the pressure on to figure out what I need to do or fix or give up at the last minute. Thanks for commenting. :-)

Congratulations! I've told this here before, but I don't think you had arrived yet. My first FSL project I tried, stitched out beautifully. I took it to the sink and turned on the water as high as it would go and took the sprayer arm and proceeded to wash out the water soluble stabilizer....or so I thought. I literally blew the entire thing apart and only had a huge pile of thread left over. You are very impressive!

Thanks, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who was left with a pile of gooey thread. It was very daunting to attempt this again. I'm pretty pleased with myself. :-)
