5 September 2014 an asteroid will be flying by tomorrow. There are 2 live webcams hopefully showing the event. I have not figured out the time. It may be visible from New Zealand with a telescope. Here are the links if you are interested.

I hope someone is able to see it. It seems so often when something like this occurs that clouds so often cover the event.

I am planning on watching it. I think it is 8 pm, however the 2 sites do not match, so I will check often today!
