DH has just put these up for me in an already overcrowded sitting/ sewing room. The twins went to a mosaic class - Ben made the seahorse and Georgie the dolphin. You can imagine my surprise when I was presented with them. I think for almost six years old they have done a great job.

Thank you Laura. I came home with loads of pictures from them as well. Ben has a sweet habit of putting a drawing on my pillow each day I was with them.

Both items looking great! The twins are following the steps of one very talented grandmother I would suggest :-) and fits really well into your house. Maria

WOW! Sarah they are stunning, Ben and Georgie have done a fabulous job. I used to love doing Mosaic work when I was at school. Maybe it's something about cutting up perfectly good pieces of crockery and replacing them - now that sounds familiar except I now do it with FABRIC!!!!!!!!
Love the pictures on your back wall there. I hope Klaus can find lots more spaces for you because I'm sure these two articles won't be the last!! he he he! Love Chris

I think it was probably a kit with already cut pieces. The picture are all old family ones (no coloured ones allowed). The top one is my mum when she was twenty.

If they don't fall down and smash to pieces. They are quite heavy with no way of hanging.

They look so nice. Why have I thought that Georgie would make a meercat? Has she changed her preference? ;-)
This talent must be in your bloodline :o)

Hi Bettina - I think that they were a kit as the glass pieces are stuck on hardboard, so they did not have a choice. Georgie just loves all living creatures.
