I purchased a nelco sewing machine, from the 60? a great old gal, problem there was only one bobbin, should be glad there was one, everything I read she should be able to use a class 15 bobbin, not so. so does any one own this machine she is a ja38, and if so any luck on bobbins? thank you Tonilee

I would see if there are any one ebay or is there a sewing machine dealer near you? My sewing machine bloke never ceases to amaze me with the goodies he has stashed away

E-bay is my scrooge shopping site. I got a Singer 778 at our thrift shop, bought parts from E-bay, took it to the repair shop and runs like a deer. It has a slant needle which I love,

Hi Tonilee, I've just been searching through Google and by all accounts they say this machine should use a Class 15 bobbin. I'd take the machine to a good sewing machine mechanic and get him/her to check it out. Good luck with the search. Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia.

p.s. I've just added a link about the sewing machine - there is a comment about 5 posts down the page and the lady who is answering says it should be a class 15!

thanks for the information, she is like the one pictured in comments, isn't she pretty. I tried the dritz class 15 bobbins no luck. the one that came with the machine works just fine, not so with the 15s I purchased. she came really clean so that helps and sounds so nice, can you tell I'm really happy with her
