Well, just woke up (leg pain) and I have not coughed since the vicks stuff on my feet at 11:00 PM last night, so it has been about 5 hours......woo hoo! Worked for me.......most of the leg pain has been more localized the past few days to above the knee, behind the knee and the inner thigh by the groin... what's up with that? I had a local school drop 18 cheer squad shirts on me last night and they need to pick them up tomorrow, I did all the coach polo's the week before I got sick, so I can't disappoint them....ugh, if Jim wasn't sleeping I would start on them now........wish me luck in pacing myself .....

Keep in mind that there is such a thing a permanent nerve damage and be very careful what you take on.

Good news on the lack of a cough. I was worried. Can Jim help you with the shirts? That's a huge order in much too short a time for you right now. But I know you will do your best to get them all done.

Wish we could all take a shirt for you and help!!! I hope you take it easy - don't do the shirts if you are sick!!!!! Sometimes people have to wait!! Oh, and great knowing about the Vaporub stuff - I will try it when we need to!! Hugs, Laura*

So happy to hear the Vicks helped. I will have to remember that one. I never heard of it. Take it easy. 18 shirts are a lot to do in such a short time. Hope it all goes well for you.

Dear Vicki, I see this post was 13 hours ago, so by now you may have done most of the shirts. I can't believe the cheer squad shirts were only given to you a day ago - I hope they understand if you don't get them finished. Your health is much more important. I wish I could help out, but too many miles/kilometres to your place, he he he! I do wish you luck in pacing yourself, take it easy, love Chris

Vicki, remember sometimes others have to place their wants according to your ongoing isssues, and you will get it done in "your" timeframe, not theirs!! They will not be disappointed, and will understand!! Take care of YOURSELF, and all else will fall into place in good timing!!
Hugs, Angel

When you talk of your leg pain being in the thigh area it reminds me of the pain I have had from a pinched sciatic(sp) nerve. My chiropractor and I now visit immediately when this happens. The pain was like being poked by an ice pick. Mine was from August one year thru May of next year, and winter had frequent changes in barometer daily. All I wanted to do was sleep but hubby insisted I be up and about. Had no surgery thank goodness.
