I have been using a PC and Husqvarna Viking software for years but got sick of the PC and switched a MAC 2 years ago. I bought Husqvarna Viking (same as Pfaff software) called TRUEmbroidery Nd am loving it so far. With each version or upgrade there has been a learning curve but I. Also you can purchase a subscription to what is called the "Advantage. Program" and get free emails with tips, projects and also free online webinarcu. I did not buy the advantage program yet, but was given a 3 month free trial after I contacted them with a problem. I was having with a design I was trying to do. I have signed up for 3 free webinars this month. Hope this helps you. I do not know of Brother software for the Mac.
