Future gifts, possibly Christmas. Pattern is from Lunch Box Quilts and has 10 more recipes. It took about I hour each on 600 stitches per minute with my new Baby Lock 10 needle machine.

These are a great idea, wouldn't they be cute made into a sack with all the dry ingredients inside. Thanks for the idea. :-)

I was so scared the first time I turned it on. Took me 2 days to thread it, but now things are moving along

They turned out beautifully! You will be a pro on that new machine before too long.
Now, I am convinced that I must keep saving my pennies so that I can buy a multi-needle machine one day.

Unfortunately it needs a lot of pennies

I would never learn to use it, I've found out it's true you cannot teach and old, old dog new tricks/Lillian

:) Yes it is. I am getting extravagant in my old age.
by Leaha 15 Sep 2014
Sorry I disagree with you...I don't think it's an extravagance; but a reward for living this long!!!!! :-D

Really nice work, wonder how long that would take with a single needle?

They same amount. A stitch is a stitch and only one needle sews at the time. The time you save is changing the thread inbetween.
by Leaha 15 Sep 2014
I think it takes me longer to change the threads than a lot of the designs take to stitch out. lol

Now that's what I call stitching, I like the sound of the Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting. Wish I was on your Christmas List LOL/Lillian

It took me a while to stop feeling SOMEWHAT guilty for being so extravagant, but boy do I enjoy the machine now.

Had to come and see, since you told me about the towels. Love the way they turned out, and I think they would make great gifts. Enlarged the pic, and the towel fabric itself looks like really high quality, you really lucked out finding that supplier! Well done, enjoy your new machine, may it give you hours of smiles and happy sewing!

Marji I am glad you took a peek. I do love the supplier of these flower sack towels, even though we didn't start of the best way.Their customer service is great. I just battle with their website.
