What do you say to your hubby when he asks you what you want for your 20th anniversary? You say - I want to go to the States and visit Christine! And so she did and is arriving in the beginning of November. I am so happy and honored that Christie is coming to visit me. We want to do either a road trip or have a embroidery weekend at a nearby hotel. any takers?

What a wonderful thing for both of you! That is truly an honor for you and you must be a very good friend for her to choose you. I'm in Georgia if you have 3 or 4 days travel time incorporated into the visit. ;)

Where to you live? What do we have available here that would interest her? Maybe a trip to Joannes, Hancock's, and Walmart. maybe you could order her some supplies from the internet and save her the high cost of shipping as she could carry home in her luggage. Kay

You will have a wonderful time Chris. I visited Christie in Germany when Trevor and I went to Europe 2 years ago. It was great to see where she lived and we walked from the train station in Rheinfelden Switzerland over the Rhein bridge into Rheinfelden Germany (the bridge divides the 2 countries) and we went to a restaurant for lunch. After lunch we walked to her flat and she had made us a lovely afternoon tea and I got to see her beautiful cat. At that stage I was eating Gluten free things and she had gone out of her way to ensure I could eat the 'goodies'. I hope you have a wonderful time. Love Chris

I remember her telling me, and I did catch the pic you posted. I have been cleaning and organizing like a banchee! I am taking the entire time off from chores (as best I can) and we are gonna play! Yeah!
