Have any of you heard of ARC (Accessory Resource Corp.) thread? I've had it for years-says it's embroidery thread. Just wondering if any of you have ever used it?

I had gotten the entire set of ARC Poly for Christmas 12-13 years ago, and it's still going strong. My Ellageo ,brother, and Ellegante have had no problems with it. They stopped making it, and then PolyX-40 appeared, with all the same colors and numbers. That has changed names to Exquisite, places to find it are: Splinters & Threads, embstore, sewforless, kenssewingcenter. Probably more. I have never had a shredding or breaking problem with it..

Thank you. I have a few spools that I was going to try. I was worried about the shredding and breaking problem, so I wanted to ask. I just invested in some Maderira thread because I was having that problem. I didn't want to have the same issues.

Madeira is fabulous thread - my issue with them is not enough color range, at least at the dealers where I shop.

I ordered online, I haven't seen it locally.

I LOVE my ARC thread. I was no happy that they stopped selling it. Luckily I had a good stock of it and only have had to fill in a bit here and there so far. It was great thread at a great price.
