First time emb on a hankie. I don't like the placement, but I needed to avoid stitching into the flowers, already emb on. I used The Mad Woman of Lockestreet Ribbon font and TMWOL-french script. I also used 2 layers of WSS underneath, going different ways. I had to reduce design a little to fit it. Hankie is very thin. Grandmother picked it up today and was pleased, so that's all that matters,I guess. Hope you can see the white on white-Toogie

Enlarged it to see better, pretty, could the script still work if it was smaller or, would that cause problems on such thin fabric? Just in case I get around to trying it...

As I stated at the top, I did reduce it, was afraid to reduce it more. I didn't want the stitches to just sit on top of each other and ball up.

I think it looks great. Most important grandmother thought so. It will be a wonderful memorable item of that special day.

That's what the grandmother is hoping for. With all the rush that day, grandmother wants her to remember how much she loves her.

Sometimes you have to fiddle with the placement to take advantage of the fabric you are stitching on. Your placement is perfect for this hanky and allows one to appreciate your design and the flowers. Well done!
