We had two raccoons too years and years ago. They were great as little ones, but when they got older they finally quit coming around and got kind of grumpy. They used to sit on Dad's shoulder and eat whatever he fed them and would run their little paws between his glasses and eyes. They were a lot fun to watch. He had placed little wooden barrels in the trees for their house, and we would let them come in our house for just a few minutes at a time. lol! They kind of purred similar to a cat.
