Cushion - a gift for our neighbour who kept an eye on the garden while we were away.
The chaffinch is hand cross-stitch which I worked on while we were on holiday. I digitised a simple oval frame with a rope edge to applique it onto the cushion cover.

Well done, its lovely and your neighbour will love it. Can't do any hand cross stitch anymore, as my closeup vision isn't the best, but still have all the ones I have done in the past.

Sue, that is so neat! I have some old xst things my aunt (who would be well over 100 now) made years ago & just didn't know what to do with them. May have to try doing this with one for each of my kids.
