Several of you have been asking for details of our recent trip. We began by spending three hectic weekends running at music festivals where we were both playing and reconnecting with old friends. (Sorry, Christine, I don't think there are any videos up on YouTube this time.)

After that we spent a couple of weeks in the Lae District National Park. It is usually the wettest place in England but the sun shined for us every day. It is great to be up in the quiet of the fells (our rather small mountains.) I just had to do the Julie Andrews thing from the Sound of Music as there was no-one around for miles. The second picture is of the dog and me relaxing on Whinlatter top, which was our objective for that day.
We are home now and catching up with everything that hasn't been done since we moved in!

Looks like you had a brilliant holiday. It's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and even nicer to catch up with old friends. Suelyn

Oh Sue I love the pictures, I've always wanted to tour in Europe. I love the scenery, these are the things I love, up high looking down what a beautiful view around a lovely lady. As for the Sound of Music, I'm sure you did it justice as I've heard you on your video/Lillian

I loved visiting the Lake District too many years ago. It is such a beautiful place. I'm glad you had a good time on your vacation. Hopefully, you will come across some video so you can share your singing talent with us. Welcome back home.

These are beautiful pictures. The 2nd picture looks like a awesome view, because rarely does the camera capture the real beauty. I am glad you had a good time but also glad you are back.

Look at that view! Wow! Looks like you had a wonderful Julie moment! Good for you! I have gone back and listened to your tunes, I think last year. I assume they are still available? It is fun to join you on your summer outings and I hope next year video will again be available.

Beautiful scenery, Sue. Your garb tells it's own tale of great weather. Meg is looking a bit puffed -I'll bet she slept like a greyhound that night :)
