Another bag from the Hat Lady or Bag Lady-lol-Me, Toogie-For pattern,Link below. Click on header 'Free Sewing Patterns, it's the first one or it was, called Modern Curves Tote Bag. It came out about the size, of the pink Cross one, I did last. I inserted those magnetic snaps again and my security wallet, zipper pocket, inside. I not only added the inside pockets, but I changed how I did the front. On her pattern, she inserted a zip, in the center overlay. What I did was cut 2 CO pcs, (one was for lining) and added piping on the curved sides. I also cut a whole pc for the front like the back, so I could sew my center pc over it,a little at the top and about 4 or 5 in at the bottom, leaving me a opening for my hand to reach in and get keys/cell phone. Look at photos, just letting you know I didn't follow her tutorial exactly. I also attached the straps differently. I also made an over-the-wrist key fob to match and used my orange twin sheet from Walmart, for lining......Know what I forgot? My "Toogie" tag !-

Thank you but I wish I would get a pro at my time! I would like to be able to cut it out and finish the same day. I cut it out yesterday morning, after I got on Cute and finished it this morning, after my bus route. Guess it could be worse, but I do think I am slipping.

Thanks, I do enjoy sewing. I wish I had appliqued, one of the flowers Cute has been giving, in red fabic on the blue front. I was afraid it had enough flowers, but now I think it would have looked good.

Well done. Vertigo has slowed me down too. We dizzy dames might work at a slower pace, but we still get our projects finished. So don't fret about it.

No Karen, I know I can't do what I used to do, but I hate the 'mess' I make. I want to straighten up, but no use, until I finish. Trouble is, once I get started again, I want to make more!

ps, this dizziness get me so sick stomach. I came home from the bus and just made it to the bathroom. I have to scroll slow here on the pc, so I know what you mean. Dizzy Dames is a group I wish I DIDN'T belong to. I know you feel the same.

Thanks Chris, but we all know how well you can sew, too. it was a little thick on the sides for me to do the strap. I think I'll do the attachment, in the seam next time ,because I do like a one strap purse.

I so loved your bag I've gone to the website and downloaded the PDF. Wish me luck! Love Chris

Very beautiful!!!! I love your purses!!!!! You are so ambitious, wish I had that instinct, I want to sew then when it comes down to it, I find myself on here after work and before work and then don't sew. You would think I could take an ambitious pill, wouldn't you? lol! Excellent work!

Thank you Lidia. I am emb on the front of another one. I was going to use one of the flowers Cute has been giving everyday, but I think it has enough flowers already in the fabric, so I used an Urban Thread design.
