Winter Quilt:

Winter in China can be brutally cold, and I will not be caught unawares like I was last year. So I have bought myself the most luxurious goose down duvet. But luxury like that deserves to be sleeved in more than just a store bought cover.

So having decided that, I set out to find a decent concept Idea. Almost immediately I decided that a quilted duvet slip will be best, so I set about embroidering groups of 4 x 4 designs. The duvet cover is growing quickly. With a little luck, and a big box of plasters (Quilting always leaves my fingers with more holes than a pair of old stockings) I will hopefully finish this project in the next few days.

We have a 3 day holiday in China this week because of the National days.
