Anyone use pinterest to organize designs?

I lost a lot of designs when I lost my last laptop. Slowly I am building up my collection. I have started 'pinning' pictures of each design on pinterest. I am keeping the boards private, I have mixed feelings on pinterest--that is another whole conversation ;)

My thinking is that i can easily scroll through the pictures to see if there is a design for whatever project i am working on, and then go to my files and search for it. Oh I guess most people have software that allows them to see a thumbnail of the file? is there any free software for that? I cannot afford new software, and my customizer does not seem to have that feature, i just see a sewing machine icon.

i am also putting my JEF files on the 'cloud' drive. i can access them from any PC that way. Just wondering if anyone has any other ideas, or knows that i am going to regret this in the future?
