At long last the sewing machine cover for my daughter is finished. Thank you Chris (pennifold) for pointing me in the right direction with the designs. They were just what I had pictured in my mind for this project.

Front, back (with pocket) and inside with label.

I wouldn't have expected anything else but perfection with this wonderful sewing machine cover. Your work is so professional and precise. I love the grey with the pink too Sarah, very practical colours. I knew those designs would be just perfect for this project and they look FABULOUS! Is this for Emma or Charlotte? Love Chris

Dear Chris - this is for Charlotte who has the machine but Emma also uses it. I am now thinking of making myself one for my embroidery machine but it will not happen soon as I broke so many nails with the piping - it was hard on the hands......

This is so lovely. I love the coordinating pink piping and the pink check lining you chose to go with your designs. What a lucky daughter. Beautiful job!

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. What I failed to say was that I never meant for the cover to be quite so 'smart'!! It is an extremely old machine that I have given to my eldest daughter. The original cover was in a terrible state and I was just going to make a dust cover in calico........
I had the denim I have used in my stash - only problem is that it weighs a ton!! I will only see if it fits at the end of October when I fly to Johannesburg, Flowers for all. Sarah

Love the pattern, very elegant. The piping, colors and designs are beautiful. I have two machines and a serger that would be so proud to wear a cover as beautiful as this. If it doesn't fit your daughter's machine... ;) Did you make the pattern?

Thank you Nancy and welcome to Cute. I have added a photo of the old cover which I cut up and made the new cover from the pieces.
