Dear Cuties,

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the suggestions you gave me in getting my house ready to sell. I had cancelled internet, so I wasn't able to respond, but was able to read your responses on my phone. The house is ready, and absolutely beautiful! The open house is tomorrow. Our agent said that already he has 8 people who are interested. The listing is only 26 hours old! I'm so excited. My son and I were working on getting things ready, and apparently I worked too hard. With two days left before it was to hit the market, I got very sick with a fever high enough that I should have been hospitalized. No other symptoms though. My daughter came in out of town, and the two of them finished the work. What a huge weight off my shoulders now. The house is still fully furnished, so we are either going to have to have an estate sale, or move it all out. It is furnished almost exclusively in antiques. The farm I had picked out as my perfect retirement location fell through, as after looking at the property three different times, I found that much of the acreage was swampy, which would or could present a serious risk for my husband. I'll keep looking. There is a perfect house out there somewhere, just waiting to be found. :) Thank you for helping me to move on from this one!!
