I have just been chatting to Asterixsew and she reminded me that i had not shown her the oil painting that i made when i went on a day course to learn how to do it.This is one of those Bucket list items that i have allways wanted to do and the chance came up last month. The picture is based on Derwent water in winter. There were 12 of us in the class and we all had a great Time. I was so impressed with the tutor that i have allready booked to do another days course with her in November, This time it will be a sea scape so learning something new again, The session is on the Bob Ross way of wet on wet painting and was so very easy to learn. I must say for those who have done oil painting or painting of any kind that this is my very first oil painting.

To see close up hold down crtl key and use roller ball to make larger or smaller

Very nice picture of you and your painting. I watched him too, he had such a gentle voice, didn't he?

his voice actually makes me feel very sleepy and relaxed especially when he talks about his Happy clouds and trees. Now i want some more books to read so at least i can stay awake long enough to digest his information

Good job. I wish I could do that. Grandfather was a commercial artist. I am sorry to say I got nothing from him but his love.

Often people are not even given that wonderfull gift of love so you are so blessed and you do not even need a wall to his love on

Oh how nice! You are a woman of many talents. I appreciate your labor of love, because I can't draw a straight line. Just beautiful! My deceased sister-in-law painted and I recently found out my SIL's aunt does portraits....I love the hair cut. I had mine cut similar one time, a guy cut it. The next time I went, he had moved on and I never have anyone else can cut it good as him. Looks good on you.

You have done excellent! I've also wanted to do this, hopefully will have time one of these days. The things I love about his work is the depth and detail one is able to see and experience. Keep up the great work. :-)

tha Panda was painted by our tutor Jayne Good and it was to show what other work shops we could take part in. Find some one who is teaching the Bob Ross wet on wet oil painting and have a go you just may amaze yourself at what you can achieve, I know i was totaly gob smacked by what i turned out
