Now its many years since I have eaten pigeon, I remember it as a child. The nextdoor neighbour shot the birds as they were eating his newly sewn peas and my mother cooked the birds

I must admit I've never had Pigeon. When we were in Venice a few years ago I couldn't get over how many Pigeons were in St. Mark's Square. Nowadays they ask you not to feed them as they were becoming a huge nuisance pooing everywhere! Love Chris
