Hello Cuties, My daughter-in-law's mothers family is from Ethiopia and one of the parties for a bride is the Hennah (hen-nah) party. All the close female women and girls will attend and those in the bridal party will have their hands decorated. The woman uses a bag or paper rolled similar to an icing bag and draws the
designs on. The hennah eventually wears off and only lasts about 10 days.

I've seen this in the market near me on girls who do veiled dances. They tell a story with their hands which are beautifully decorated.

I remember the Indian lady who drew my blood for Cholesterol check had her hands all painted with henna dye. i asked her about it and it was kind of like having your nails done. Kay
