One year ago today during some of the worst bush-fires here in Newcastle I was at the hospital watching our dear little Delphi Bonnie being born. We are off to her first birthday party this afternoon and would you believe it - we are expecting rain! Happy birthday to our darling girl. Love Chris

This is the quilt I made for her 1st birthday. I had the girls here on Wednesday and Delphi crawled all over it and rubbed her face on it - sure sign she likes it. Love Chris

Thanks Chris, Kim and Carolyn. It's now what I would have done for her if I'd chosen the fabrics, but, hey, Amy wanted it like this - so, what's a Mum to do? I've wrapped it all up in yellow tissue paper and her party today is all in yellow and mauves/purples etc. Just finished cooking some lovely Honey Crackles and Cornflake meringues and done a fruit platter. Yummy!
