ever wonder what you can do with all those charming station snowmen that you have been collecting?

I just finished making this block & thought about all the time that I spent stitching it by hand. then I remembered to post the latest freebie today & the lights went off. they would make a lovely quilt or wall hanging or tablemat or the list is endless.............. this is the start of mine & it is turning out pretty good so far. The pattern is a square in a square in a square lol. I always wanted a two color quilt so this is starting off that way but I may change my mind & add more colour to it? What do you think? two colour families or add more?

wow, that is going to be gorgeous Loralye! Personally, I wouldn't add another color. I like it the way it is. But, heck, if you put another color I would probably love that too! lol. Maybe a skinny strip of the white around each square to frame it off? Love what you did already. Can't wait to see them all done! ***Hugs and Flowers to you***

Looks so nice as you have it. If a border I would add the frozen blue color or white.

Dear Carolyn, please, pretty please, where did you get that awesome Snowflake Fabric from? I'm not sure if you are aware or not, but my annual Christmas ladies luncheon this year's theme is Snowflakes! Can you help me out with where to buy it? Love Chris

Have you tried Craft Depot Chris, I'll take another look at their email catalogue for you..
by pldc 19 Oct 2014
I doubt very much that Carolyn can tell you where I got it from lol. I bought quite a few from the line & I can tell you that it feels so soft & silkie like not silk of course but so like it. "Makin' New Friends" by Deb Strain for Moda modafabrics.com I bought it @ our local quilt store last year & she has since closed. I do hope that you have good luck finding it.~hugs Loralye~

That's pretty, Loralye! I would add a bit of red, but it's a matter of personal preference.

Gosh, I have a collections of photos of how people used the snowmen. I think I got it from postings on this forum. Also. that website has some photos too. My personal favorites are the ones that are used in quilts, like yours! Nicely done!
