OMG when it rains it pours for me. First my computer took a dive, now my sister is in the hospital and I'm having to stay at her house with her 3 kids. She doesn't have a computer. And don't know her neighbor well enough to ask to use her's. Might just give up on computers and get it over with.

Can you go to the local library and use their computers? Just a thought. I hope your sister will be Ok and her kids behave so you can have some fun and bond with them

First sending you a huge hug for being there for your sister and watching her children! What a huge relief it must have been for your sister knowing you would be able to take care of them while she was in the hospital and unable to care for them herself. Hopefully it won't be too long until you have your own computer once again or at least able to borrow one occasionally when needed. Since I don't think the world will go back to a time prior to computers and likely you have many embroidery designs you enjoy and just using those designs you already have, they will tempt you to see what new designs are available out in cyber space. So more hugs your way until you are able to be connected again to all those designs out there in cyber space just waiting for you to find them.

Wow-hope your sister's stay in the hospital isn't too serious and she is able to be home soon with her kids. It's nice that she has a sister that can take care of her kids for her. Do you have to have a computer to work on? It is kind of inconvenient not having access to one but I would imagine that your sister and her family are more important than the internet, right?

You and computers are having a parting of the ways lately and hopefully temporarily. It must be a great relief to your sister to have you as back up when she needs someone to care for her children. I'll bet you will have so much fun with them, you won't have time to miss your computer.

I do hope that your sister will be ok & you have a lovely chance to bond with your nieces & nephews. I too have had to be without my pc for a time & it is amazing what you can get done without it. Then I am ever so happy when I can use it again I wish this for you as well. If you have to be without it for a time then enjoy the time away from it. What a blessing in disguise this is for both you & your sister. ~hugs Loralye~

She's home. Thank God. I just have to go over a couple of times a day and check on her and the kids. So far things are working well. Her husband will be home this weekend and I will be free. At least he didn't have to give up his business trip. I feel good about that. There was a lot of fun with the kids. However, it will be a long time before I want either pizza or popcorn. If she had internet service I could have taken my computer over. But no internet cause no computer. Just glad it's about over.

So glad you could be there for your sister Athena. The computer can wait, family is more important. I'm so glad that she is now back home to be with her children. Hope her husband gets home safely too. Love Chris
