I had some jelly roll strips left from my wallhanging so I thought I'd make a table runner. (Inspired by my SS in the Cute Birthday swap) The central leaf designs are from Urban Threads.
I still have some oddments of fabric left so I suppose mugrugs will be next!

Nicely done..love the leaves with those particular fabrics...was this a quilt as you go (strip and flip) or did you put the topper together and then layer and quilt? Lovely!

No, when I started, I hadn't decided what to put in the sandwich so I did the top first. I wish I had done it as I went along now.

Love your runner! This is the exact same quilt-as-you-go table runner that I did in a quilting class two or three years ago. Only mine was a Christmas runner. I fussy cut a design from the main fabric for the center and did my husband's and my initials in the little squares with machine embroidery. I am in the process of making another one for a friend this Christmas. Easy, even for a novice quilter like myself.

Lovely! Those UT leaves are beautiful. Mugrugs will be a nice extra to go with it.
Oh, and should you have any wee bits left eggyannie will no doubt have an idea for those :) like her tiny heart cushion.

Love it! Don't know how you put it together, but others have mentioned quilt as you go...that is the one I want to learn, so will have to find the info somewhere. Thanks for the inspiration, hugs and blessings.

Love it! Made me go hunting for a pattern. This is close, just needs a border. Flip and sew is the way to go.

Well done! I do love the colors. The whole piece "sings" autumn!

It reminds me of one done by tippi a couple of years ago -- hers was a bit different and done with Christmas colors -- but lovely just the same.
