Carolyn . I am working on something very similar , but you are one up on me. I made the mistake of washing the towels and it was a disaster as they look terrible and I had spent time embroidering on them. I still plan on using the pot holders. Kay

try washing them first, it will test colour and see if they shrink, you can always spray starch them to sew on
