it takes half of a hand towel & 1 bath towel. When I buy the hand towel, I get 2 bath towels, cut the hand towel (after I wash it) & overlock the edges so they don't ravel...so I have another one ready to make when I need it. If you want the directions, PM me.

These are great gerry, I like making them also. every yr. I have to make the litte ones a new one for when they come to get in the pool. we had to close the pool last nigh boo hoo.Getting much to cool to swim now/Lillian
