No embroidery. Found this on Pinterest and had to give it a try. Have no pattern, but i think its not bad for cold days. It will be closed with two buttons on the left shoulder and you can turn down if you open the button on the top.

It looks so nice and warm.
I tried one of the two-directional shawls I saw in Projects and used a yarn very similar to yours; it turned out very soft to the touch.
