Advice please. I need a fusible stabilizer to go on the back of cotton. It will be a piece for a quilt. I can't find my notes for my favorite one that won't pucker/bubble after washing. TIA!

Hi sewmom - and yes I'd use the Pellon as Chris has suggested below. I've had a look on YouTube and there is a great little video by Sarah Lawson - just go to YouTube and type in Sara Lawson Shares How to Use Pellon Fusible Interfacing and you can see how easy it is. I'll try and add the link, but if it doesn't work just do as I said above. Love Chris

I just tried adding it and opened it and it came up blank!
I thought my go-to was Pellon SF-101 but I hadn't used it in a while so I just did a sample and washed it and dried it and it's bubbly. I preshrunk the fabric but forgot to steam the Pellon first. It would probably be fine ironed but no one will be ironing a quilt.
I'll see if the YouTube link will work here.

Works for me.
I will try another sample and steam the interfacing first. It is not listed as an instruction in this video but I have done it before.

Going to try the Pellon 906F. Non woven fusible.

Hmmm, I use Shape-Flex SF101 all the time for my quilts as it is 100% cotton like my fabric...I don't wash my fabric first...I just iron on the SF101 to the back with lots of steam...then embroider...I have not had a problem...makes me wonder what happened that you got bubbles...perhaps because the fabric was pre-washed...not sure...

I would think not pre-washing would get more bubbles because they would shrink at different rates. I don't know either?

What is the difference between Pellon TP971F AND 906F?

906f is non woven. I'm not sure of the other one.
